Sie schildert in ihrem Dokumentarfilm mit ruhigen und kommentarlosen Bildern das Leben einer jungen Familie mit ihrer an Krebs und einer besonderen Form der Trisomie 19 leidenden Tochter. Aber nicht das Leiden und die aufreibenden Situationen sind das Thema des Films, sondern die alltäglichen Momente des Glücks, die kindliche Entdeckungsneugier, die Lebenslust und Genussfreudigkeit des kleinen Mädchens und ihrer bewunderungswürdig gelassenen Familie.”
